Mireia DG plays house and tech house in Barcelona, where she holds three residencies: ElDirty at Razzmatazz, ANTI at Apolo, and the House Room at Bananas, Sala Safari.
She doesn't arrive with a set. Records get picked for how they land in the room rather than how they look on paper, and the next one is never decided before the last has played. Music reaches her as sound, sensation and image all at once, and she reads a floor the same way, following the energy instead of a plan.
What that builds is a groove physical enough that dancing stops being a decision. The result is different every night. Not because she plans it that way, but because she listens. The room goes dark. The crowd becomes one. And for a few hours, nothing outside that moment exists.
House and tech house, nothing else. Winner of the Lovin Ibiza DJ Contest at national level and semifinalist at ElRow. Selected through the festival's own DJ contest, she made her festival debut on the Open Stage at Brunch Electronik, Parc del Fòrum.
Short clips from the booth. The read, the reaction, the part that never shows up on a tracklist.
@djmireiadg ↗House was built in a basement for people who needed somewhere to go. Nothing planned, nothing imposed. The groove is the language, and it gives the room whatever it needs that night.
Selected through the festival's own DJ contest. One hour on the Open Stage, with the floor already full and the night at its peak.
Clubs, festivals, private events.
Tell me the room, the slot and the crowd, and I will tell you what I would play.
